It is my honor to serve as principal at Gonzales Junior High School. My goal is to help ensure that students are equipped for continuous learning in a safe environment. I am fortunate to have supportive staff, parents, and community members who work tirelessly to educate students.
I was raised in Raywood Texas, a small rural community, in Southeast Texas outside of the Houston area. The petroleum industry was a major source of jobs for many families in the area including my father. My mother was a reading teacher.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from St. Edward’s University in 1999. I received my Master’s in Educational Leadership in 2014. I worked in Bastrop ISD for seven years as an educator. I served at the high school as assistant principal for three years before becoming Jr. High principal.
Thank you for allowing me to serve as principal. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or (830) 672-8641 extension 3999. Always remember, good people do good things!
